Jessica Hatfield is an artist with a profound love for wildlife, holding a BS in Veterinary Science from the University of Nevada, Reno.
A childhood surrounded by nature and a pivotal hands-on conservation internship in South Africa shaped her career from the outset. Her later role as Chair of the Urban Wildlife Research Project was multifaceted, including critical research collaboration, digital marketing, data management, and managing strategic partnerships that drove conservation efforts forward. Beyond conservation, Jessica’s prowess extends into videography and digital storytelling, utilizing her expertise in After Effects and Premiere to produce captivating videos for Patra Corp and her freelance ventures.
A scholarship recipient at the Community School of Music and Arts in 2012, Jessica explored diverse artistic mediums, gradually carving out a distinctive style that elevates her environmental enthusiasm. Jessica’s work gained recognition as she became a featured artist with the ‘Community Advocacy Through Art’ project, Imitation Fruit literary journal, and earned national acclaim in the 2021 ‘Live with Kelly and Ryan’ costume contest. Her multimedia works, paintings, and drawings — including those previously exhibited at Flywheel Press and Backyard Coffee — articulate her vision of protecting and appreciating the natural world through both the sciences and the arts.
